It is so hard to believe that this is the last newsletter of the year! The year has gone by so quickly. We have loved watching your children grow and change in so many ways over the last several months. We hope you have thoroughly enjoyed the experience as well.
This letter is packed with information so please read it very carefully! We will host our Grandparents and Cowboy/Cowgirl Day out at Pretty Lake Church on Wednesday, May 15. Pretty Lake Trinity United Methodist Church is located at 8985 IN-17, Plymouth. Children are encouraged to dress in their Cowboy/Cowgirl attire if they would like to do so. There is a space at Pretty Lack Church for us to give our pony rides, work on a special art project, enjoy a snack together, have some fun on the playground, and practice some of our graduation songs for our guests. We would like to give any grandparents that would be available the opportunity to come in and spend some time with us on Cowboy/Cowgirl Day. We thought it would be fun for the grandparents to be able to watch their grandchild ride a pony. If your child does not have a grandparent in the area, you are welcome to decide on a special guest to visit with your child.
You will notice several more special events listed on the calendar. These are meant to be fun days and we encourage everyone to participate. On Beach Day, students may dress for a day of fun in the sun. We ask that students do not wear swimsuits to school. Instead we are encouraging students to wear shorts, tank tops, sundresses, flip flops, etc. Students do not need backpacks on this day!
On Wednesday, May 22, we will meet at Hoosier Old Wheels Pavilion in Centennial Park at 11:00. We will spend time playing in the park, and eating together. Please plan to bring lunch for everyone who joins your family that day. We will eat approximately 11:20, and then share in a few more activities. Please have your child wear his or her preschool t-shirt.
We will also have our graduation ceremony on May 22, at 6:30 pm at Crossroads Church. We ask that students wear their preschool shirts for graduation on this evening. We will also be wearing graduation hats, so we ask that you remember this as you create those fancy dos for this occasion. All students in both classes will be participating in our ceremony, so please plan to attend and to bring friends, and family.
We continue to ask for your assistance in promoting HSW Preschool. Some of you have indicated you still plan to enroll, or know of someone who may be interested. We are quickly filling our classes for next year, so please encourage friends and family members to sign up soon to ensure they reserve a spot. If you would like to register, please let us know.
One final reminder for garage sale donations. We are accepting items for our scholarship sale. If you have any additional items to donate, please let us know! You may bring items at arrival and dismissal or make other arrangements with a teacher. Thanks for your support!
